Description

Nylap  is a medium hard woven synthetic cloth primarily designed for tertiary grinding of a wide range of materials particularly when rubbing can be a issue. It can be employed with oil, water and alcohol based abrasives to produce flat relief free specimens.

Typically employed in conjunction with  3 micron – 9 micron diamond abrasives and ideal for ferrous materials, in particular graphitic cast irons.  Available in self adhesive or for use with magnetic platens (M) in the usual size range 203, 254, and 305 mm sizes.
