Brinell hardness reference blocks – certified by our UKAS-accredited laboratory

Description

Our UKAS certified Brinell reference blocks are manufactured by Foundrax, the experts in Brinell hardness testing, and fully confirm to both ISO 6506 and ASTM E10.

Foundrax only use steel supplied to their specific requirements, most of which is rolled to order, just for them. The majority of the manufacturing process is controlled entirely in house and the blocks are calibrated on master machines of their own manufacture – at least as accurate as any National Standard Brinell hardness calibration machine found in National Laboratories around the world.

Aluminium blocks are made from carefully sourced material with a tightly controlled sampling process; when selecting material careful attention is paid to the grain structure in order to ensure reliable indentations whatever the hardness or test scale.

Brinell hardness reference blocks are available in a complete range of hardness values, they feature low uncertainty of measurement and high quality surface finish for ease of use.
